My Story
I'm a 27 year old Sussex born song-writer, composer and teacher. When I was 5 my dad started teaching me guitar, then I went on to learn recorder at primary school. I was offered to the opportunity to learn Clarinet when I was 8 then subsequently went on to learn Saxophone. Over the years I have taught myself guitar, piano, bass, vocals and drums.
I've played with many wind bands, orchestras, rock & pop groups, function bands and I have been privileged to play alongside some of the finest musicians in the south east.
In 2015 I graduated from the Academy of Music and Theatre Arts at Falmouth University and have since moved back to Sussex to pursue teaching and performance.
What I Offer
Success in learning frequently depends on finding the right Music Teacher; someone who knows the subject well and understands how to inspire others. My teaching style focuses on skills training, but also emphasises self-exploration and discovering a passion for something new, all in a safe and welcoming environment. I have an enhanced DBS certificate for both adults and children. I am able to travel to you.
